Forever Stamp a look back

In 2007, the U.S. Postal Service issued the Forever stamp, which will always be valid as First-Class postage on standard envelopes weighing one ounce or less, regardless of any increases in the First-Class rate. The stamp which features the Liberty Bell,can still be purchased today for $.41.

With the increase in technology today how many stamps do we really need in a years time?

Is it really worth it to purchase any real quantities of the Forever stamp and keep them around for years to come?Will we look back one day and realize we should have bought more?
