First off a special Thanks to one of our community members for adding the tag: self-reliance.So I thought, what a great topic and chance for me to share one of the best magazines, that I have been a subscriber to in the past, that has practical ideas for self-reliant living,it is Backwoods Home Magazine.

Backwoods Home Magazine is a country oriented “how to” magazine that specializes in showing people how to build their own home, produce independent energy, grow their own food, and how to make a living without being tied to a city. They also cover related subjects such as health, raising animals, food preservation, country skills, home schooling, arts and crafts, recipes, and book reviews.

The current issue is only partially available online,but there are also many back issues to read from.
